Here at KSL, we are always on the lookout for new generations of talent, and last year we launched our new Student Placement Programme. We offer work experience opportunities for Years 10 and 11, summer work for school leavers and university students, and placements for graduates who would like to work in their chosen industry alongside their studies. Unlike some work experience placements, our students are fully mentored and are able to work on real life projects as part of our friendly, welcoming team. Last week we had the first students arrive for our summer Student Placement Programme, and two pupils from local schools joined us for a week of work experience.
One of the students spent their time working on developing a database for the production line, while the other had the opportunity to work with different teams across the company doing a variety of tasks. They was able to shadow the production team and learnt about the electronic components used in our products, and even got to test a product that hasn’t yet been released!
